The final project of my bachelor degree was to design a visual book,
an object that give the reader a “reading experience”.
The book redesigned here is I detti di Rābi‘a, a collection of facts
of Rābi‘a life. Rābi‘a was a mystic sufi guide.
Through the visual book the reader will experience a “visual way”
as like as Rābi‘a experienced the sufi mistic way.
The “readability” was the typographic tool that let the text
to be really hard to be read at first and then, page by page,
more easy, until it becomes a normal and pleasant text.
Aesthetically the book has a noble poverty, with a minimal
and functional look.
Font used : Helvetica, Marion
Paper : Conqueror CX22 Cream 100gr.
