This was a quick side project that I took on to create a video opener for the inauguration of Loyola University Chicago's new president. I was originally tasked to clean up the vector file of the university seal, but wanted to create something special for the event. I created the 3D model from the flat vector, but also sculpted and modeled the details of the phoenix and the laurels. Then I animated the clip for the video team to use in the opener. A still was also used as a projected backdrop for the event, which had a great presence on the large screen.
