Tea light candle casting project

Inspired by designs in the 50's, 60's and 70's, We were required to create tea light candle holders. These were to be cast from plastic/s of our choice.
It all started with many pages of concept drawing.

Coming to the final idea.
As I had my final idea, I was able to take it into  a CAD environment and render my product.
After many mock ups i then created my pattern
There are the material i used to crate my tea light candles, with addidtion of purple dye and the silicone.
After securing my pattern into my mold box i poured in silicon to form the mold. Waited for it to set and demolded it.
Once the silicone mold ready, I mixed Smooth cast A and B into a measuring tab and mixed thoroughly before pouring it into the mold.
Here is the reaction that occurs while setting
Once set I demolded. I repeated this casting project another three times.
Plain purple colour change while setting
Purple swirl holder set before bemolding
Purple and purple swirl once demolded
Aluminium finished holder after demolding
After casting all holders, each were wet sanded down to achieve a smooth finish.
