Swa Koteka is an HIV prevention Study in South Africa being conducted by the University of North Carolina and the University of the Witwatersrand. The study aims to keep young South African women in school to reduce their risk of HIV through the use of conditional cash transfers. The logo image needed to convey both an African teenage girl and a bright future through education. The image had to have very obvious visual elements for easy recognition. This logo is being used on brochures, study documents, presentations, T-shirts and murals.
