VERDE PETROLIO.
Verde Petrolio is the name we chose to represent our work group for an Eco Design course at University.
It means "green petroleum" and, while being the name of a color, it is also formed by two opposite words with two opposite meanings. Green usually represents nature, ecology, recycling. Petroleum reminds us of how men are polluting and destroying the environment.
We wanted to piece together these two elements to form another meaning, a new way of producing, learning from the mistakes of our past and trying to make a difference.
