Between 2013 and 2014, I strategised and executed a multidisciplinary venture entitled “The Kite Project”. This ambitious endeavour was intended to bring together my cartoon drawing experience with my song writing catalogue. The band and team of animators drew support from its fanbase by involving the general public from day one. Our audience shot the footage for our partly animated music video, were informed of the storyboarding and animation progress and selected the final four songs to be recorded. The result is the formation of a cartoon band with its own animated music video and 4 track EP. The entire project was supported by the Malta Arts Fund.
