This was a non-commercial animation test, for personal use only, based on a Rube Goldberg machine.

Rube Goldberg machine is a contraption, invention, device, or apparatus that is
deliberately over-engineered to perform a simple task in a complicated fashion.
The expression is named after American cartoonist and inventor
          Rube Goldberg (1883–1970).   (wiki)

This one features several miniature production assistant clones used as props, as we travel down the chain reaction to reveal the TED logo.

Renaissance scientists sort devices into six classically defined groups of simple machines:
‱ Lever
‱ Wheel and axle
‱ Pulley
‱ Inclined plane
‱ Wedge
‱ Screw
