This Photography II class project, produced in 2013, consisted into capturing two photos for a vinyl's front an back cover having one of ten tracks as inspiration. These 10 tracks were given by the professor without any kind of identification, so that students couldn't be influenced by the actual art of the album to which the tracks belonged to. The tracks had different styles and rhythms, I chose the instrumental Jazz track of the bunch.
Este projecto da disciplina de Fotografia II, produzido em 2013, consistia em capturar duas fotografias que fizessem a capa e contracapa de um vinil usando uma de 10 faixas como inspiração. Estas 10 faixas foram dadas sem qualquer tipo de identificação, de forma a que os alunos não pudessem sem influenciados pelas capas reais dos álbuns aos quais as faixas pertenciam. As faixas tinham diversos estilos e ritmos, a faixa escolhida por mim foi uma faixa Jazz instrumental.

The thought process behind this was to try and capture a warm feeling, comfort, like a familiar place would feel - like our home in the winter. That's what it felt listening to the music over and over while driving at night through Porto.
O processo por trás deste projecto foi tentar capturar um sentimento morno, de conforto, algo sentido com um lugar familiar - como a nossa casa no inverno. Foi isso que senti ouvindo repetidamente a faixa enquanto conduzia pelo Porto de noite.
