Yet another project with the frottage technique. This time I was asked to use another person’s images and colour to create a small artistic book. The frottages of these two mascaras looked like brush strokes, which is why I’ve chosen to use their shapes to illustrate the different uses of colour, also because nowadays mascaras are widely differentiating. In addition I showed the seven colour contrasts illustrated by Johannes Itten in his The Art of Color using every image I was given.

The final little book (6x6 cm) was printed on black cardboard through UV printing, so as to represent each colour, even white, at its best quality on a dark surface.
