The aim of the project was to create a piece of media that willfeature introductory information about video gaming today. My angle was to applyacademic research to explain some of the social aspects of gaming in today’s societyand also introduce people to gaming as one of mainstream entertainments, ratherthan something people do pass the time. Further in the book, I break down allpopular gaming platforms, genres and equipment used by gamers today.
For the layout, I used Microsoft’s Metro Design Language and took it as a challenge to make it work on the piece of printed media.
