Bees do not only produce honey. As pollinators of our fields, they are a key element for the worldwide food production. One third of the food we consume depends on bees and other pollinating insects, that’s why their development is a great complement to traditional agriculture or as an independent activity itlsef. As Albert Einstein once said, “our lives depend on theirs”.
