That’s a Mole! is an international illustration contest created to enhance creative expression,
through one of the most important icons of the city of Turin, the Mole Antonelliana.
This here is the contour of The Mole. The task is to illustrate with this contour as a constraint.
‘Fitting in’ is something we are always working on. The constraint of working inside a given form made me think of this behavioural trait of wanting to fit in.
May it be a situation, a group, or even wanting to stand out, we are always trying to balance and morph into a form. A form that either the society or we ourselves painted in our minds. Here is my depiction of this act, holding on to our image and hanging by the strings of our lives, hoping we have made it.
