My favorite part of flying is getting to spend time traipsing down an aisle of duty-free stores in the airport. More often than not, you'll find me at a fragrance counter smelling a million different perfumes with absolutely zero intention of buying since I rarely wear perfume (I forget) and bottles of EDPs and EDTs have started accumulating on top of my dresser. After a while, the bouquets of florals, fruit, wood, and spices jumble into dizzying olfactory overload, but there's something extremely magical about the rows and rows illuminated bottles that never fail to keep me at the counter. Sometimes I wonder if my fragrance purchases are motivated more by bottle design than smell. Here are some of my favorites.
