Atheos is an app developed by Dr. Peter Boghossian and his team that helps people have non-confrontational discussions about gods, religion, faith, and superstition.
I was hired onto this project as both the UI designer and Art Director for the app.
At the beginning of the project, I took input on what the app was to become and created a mockup prototype of what the app would look like and the general flow of screens the user would see while using it.
I developed a responsive Bootstrap site for the site to serve as a promo for the site and bring in beta testers. As the art director, I managed a team of volunteer artists throughout the project to come up with assets for the app such as narrative illustrations, iconography, and promo videos. I ensured that all media produced obeyed my visual guidelines and quality. This was my first experience art directing for a project and I learned a great deal about how to communicate my ideas and manage people.
The app is now out on the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store.
