THE TRICKSTER & THE TRICKED
A poster design brief for an international storytelling festival.
I was asked by The UWE (University of West England) to create something towards the upcoming storytelling festival they had set up.
For my final project at Norwich University College of the Arts, I illustrated a book entitled Trickster Tales, which included four short stories based on the eponymous trickster. Having seen this book via research, I was approached for this particular commission.
I used a similar technique for the poster as I had done in my Trickster Tales, but had to refine for the purposes of large scale printing.
Here is the final decided poster image, as well as some initial sketched up ideas that we played around with.
