Here's how it was made. No pencils sketches and straight to inking. More fun and challenging that way.
Final look of all sides. I intentionally made the logo on the back look like it was hand drawn to complete the overall feel.

For me, this was the cleaner pair. Added more details on the base but left the
back strip, logo area, shoe lace holder and the 3 stripes untouched (except for the name on the inner part).
