This is one of my standup paddleboard (SUP) art projects I created for my client, Christina G.  Christina wanted a special dragon on her board using blue in conjunction with other colors already on her SUP.  I choose to place the dragon on the deck right in front of her deck pad so she could readily see him while paddling.  I decided to use both the solid white background and the pattern reflected by the fabric in the board's construction to create a dragon image fluctuating between the solid and the transparent, yin and yang, so that it appears to be flying in two different realms just as Christina paddling in the water while remaining air bound!
