BALTA is the result of a University group project during our second year at Politecnico of Milan.
Balta It's designed to help old people in the activity of standing and sitting thanks to a shape that gently drive the movement. It's inspired by the figure of grandpas that use to take children to the recreation ground and parks. The shapes and colours are inspired by the design of kids games and the materials have been studied to resist in an outdoor environment.
BALTA is a witty combination of form and function with a jerk of zest
The hook secures BALTA on the ground. The shapes is studied to allow the user to move and rotate the chair. BALTA wants to be safe but also wants to encourage sociality and relationships
