TRYPO ALPHABET.
The “Trypo Alphabet” is inspired on the Greek word “Trypia”, which means “hole”.
The purpose is to have “hole” as the focal point in order to create the 26 characters. Each charcter is based on an exact square consisting of 784 holes, which then are filled up with picks. The picks are then cut in different sizes with the intention to create visual movement. The paint spots represent the sensation of overflow.
