This piece has grown into various environments
In the years to come the plant will have grown so thickly that it will become a wallpaper, turning the space into an interior room. Once the process is complete, one leaf will curl free of the design and start the cycle of leafing out into a plant once again.
This piece sprouted at SFAI in 2009. It was transplanted into the Gunn High School Library showroom. It is currently being planted in Rooz Cafe in Oakland California.
