The term “Electric Lemonade” comes from a mixed drink. I first came in contact with it when a friend of mine ordered it at TGI Friday’s. When I saw the drink arrive at our table, I saw something very exotic and complex. I took a mental note of the characteristics of the drink. It was a light saturated blue with a lemon and rasberry garnish. The drink had an interesting mix of colors and personality to it. I wanted to create a type treatment that would create the same feeling that I got when I first saw the drink. The type had to create an exotic and complex feel to it.
