Revolving the single-minded proposition of persevering against violence, it celebrates how Women’s Aid Organisation do what all they can for the past 33 years to redeem women’s rights. The function of the walkathon is to represent the whole morale of perseverance.
Here’s my logo in conjunction with my single minded proposition which is Perseverance Against Violence. I used the element of arrow to represent perseverance. The typeface used in the logo is Avenir Black because it has the characteristics of boldness and it boost the spirit of positivity.
The posters were created to encourage women who faced violence, by using encouraging quotes such as “We Achieved Freedom because we persevered.” It is designed with the mnemonic from the logo which is the arrow sign to show the feeling of celebration and perseverance. The purpose of these posters are also to gather every women in Malaysia to join WAO in this walkathon which is the Walk of Perseverance. There are 3 posters in total with different headlines but with the same meaning.
For this event, we will be giving out leaflets which is also the registration forms for the walkathon. Informations about the event will be clearly stated on this registration form, including the time, location, and so on. You will also get to know more about WAO through this leaflet as they’re also introduction, facts and reasons about WAO.
