HELP has been providing specialist and professional services to assault and sexual abuse survivors since 1982. Within their work they identified that girls 16-24 are at a particularly high risk of harmful sexual behaviour, and that this group lacks awareness of resources available to support them in the event of an abusive experience. HELP and Curative worked together over several months using a co-design process with 8 young women to uncover how to communicate this sensitive issue in a meaningful, powerful and motivating way.
The result is Em - calling all young women to be a force by creating a place for young women to have a voice; to find ways to be stronger & more confident in managing stressful situations of all kinds; to recognise sexual harm; and, to learn to support one another.
