The final oil paint layer which includes the highlights and reflected light, which I still need to fix up I think! Other than that the painting is pretty much finished.

Whoops, skipped a few steps. Most of the oil painting layers are done, a total of 3 I think. I use some glazing techniques over opaque paint to get the richness of colour.

Starting with a sealed wooden panel, I then sketch out my artwork in pencil. A thin layer of gesso is applied to the artwork area & an acrylic underpainting is started.
