Patortú is a civilized alien race created for a class project in 2012. It is a hybrid from a duck (Pato in spanish) and a turtle (Tortuga) that grows a parasitic tree on his shell.
Their planet is Patortugaterre (Duck turtle earth) from de galaxy Canardie (from the word Canard that means duck in french). The planet is mostly corals, myst and their atmosphere is composed by H3Solide that is not known by humans. It is a small planet but still its inhabitants enjoy their little home.
In their infant age their height is around 1 meter but as it grows into adulthood it can measure as tall as 3 meters. They have 4 limbs, but the last two grow in their teenage years.
They eat Floruosas and medusa flies, both can be collected in the patortu fields, the flowers grow in the coral like trees and usually the medusa flies roam around that area as well. the flowers are eaten directly but the flies are captured by the carnivorous parasitic plant.
Patortús are very similar to earths turtles and they are very slow even on their planet, therefor they developed the cestocópteros (Basket+Helicopter) that work with a leaf helix tied up with a special fabric made by medusa flies.
Their beauty rituals include sleeping and steam baths.
They enjoy art so they often visit the Patortopera house.
