Most of us have heard the old adage that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If I were to ask you to picture in your mind's eye...fungus, weeds, a dilapidated barn, a barren landscape, a burned-out stump or even a rotted rubber tire...would you imagine them to be beautiful? Normally, I wouldn't. My eyes however, have beheld beauty in many unconventional subjects such as these. It is in their color, shape, texture, the lines they form, and/or the contrast they create within their landscape. It is my hope that these images convey to their beholders the beauty perceived by my eyes.
