Acrylic and Fiber on Canvas, 36x36"
Spatial politics occur simultaneously on the land and the image. Maps organize identity; graphics organize information; painting (dis)organizes truth; and, infrastructure organizes us.

As gentrifiers colonize our cities and big data populates our feeds, the personal brand is personal worth. (Dis)located pixels backlight the status semiotic in simultaneity with condos and city blocks.

The creative economy defines a new feudalism, privileging the agency of adjacency as identity. Privileged locus, privileged sight—height: the panopticon, the painting, the flaneur… the feed.

Frame the landmark; drop the pin. Space is continuously rewritten.
