In Chinese philosophy , yin and yang ( 陰陽 dark bright ) describe how seemingly opposite or contrary actually can be complementary, interconnected and interdependent in the natural world forces , and how they can be given rise to each other as they are interrelated . I think, there are dualities as such as light and darkness , fire and water, expansion and contraction, male and female of physical manifestations as duality symbolized by the yin and yang , as in this illustration I wanted to show.
