To learn sheetmetal modeling, I was assigned to model an existing tube light bracket in Siemens NX. I had to model the pieces, assemble them and make technical drawings of it. I found this very interesting because it’s a totaly different way of modeling things. Instead of starting with solids, you start with a plate and you can explore the possibilities of this material.
