Reflect-DOKU:TECH 2016

DOKU:TECH is an inspirational and interactive annual event which brings together individuals and tech talent to meet with top-tier international future makers, executives and thinkers.

During the dates 06-07 of August the city of Prizren, Kosovo held the annual interactive tech event, which brought Mike Butcher, Thorsten Wiedemann, Laura Mersini-Houghton, Aral Balkan, Josipa Majic to the stage.
When DOKU:TECH came to us with the task of creating something new, we saw as an opportunity to create a concept that would drive the innovation and technology of the event forward and also challenge the mind of the audience. As huge as the task was, the main role that we felt driven by was the ability to understand the way we interact with the ever changing cyber world.
VIDEO//
As we collide in time and space, as we meet each to touch and entangle until we only reach quantum states, as we break through the dawn of this age…
… we perspire the adolescent revolution of our being.
Though we dive deep on this uncertainty principle among men and creation, we remain the fundamental observant of this risen magnificence that tunnels through that Kafkian guarded door.

Shall we pass or observe? Or shall we only transcend through these three questions?

The video that we created aims to explain and understand the relation between human and technology through a literary aspect.
SPECIAL EVENT'S VIDEO//
WEB//
The website was designed in the similar layout style as the posters to keep the same theme, and was created to allow users the easiest way of browsing the web.
SOCIAL MEDIA//
3D SCAN //
When it came to 3D we saw an opportunity to visualize the actual concept of the reflected identity. We scanned the actual faces of some of the team members and used it throughout the social media to emphasis the shift of the cyber identities.
POSTERS//
DIGITAL POSTER//
We created the digital poster based on the concept of the reflection. The poster was printed with a reflective material in order for people have an interactive relation. The thing that we were most excited about designing this poster was that when approached by a person the material will take a different form showing the reflection of the always evolving cyber identity.
3D PRINT//
When we wanted to share gifts with different types of audiences we chose to have as a gift our human character. So we made a character out of the 3D printer.

BADGES// were stamped for members of staff, speakers, volunteers and workshops. Every badge had a specific element from the concept which made them stand out from each other.
We designed a set of stationery items such as booklet which offered the participants a detailed schedule and relevant information concerning the event.
TOTE BAGS//
The participants were given custom bags which were made to showcase the identity of the event. The bags were also praised for its unique style in the fashion aspect.

T-SHIRTS//
PINS//
STEAGE//
The stage was designed with materials that can be used as building materials, the goal was to try and emulate a R&D (Research and Development) ambient in order to engage and inspire the audience, showing the ongoing work behind a project.
