The collection presents the two ends of this hand carved miniature sculpture through material property, the viewer sees the clear distinction between rough and smooth faces. Instead of influencing the material, I allow the material to form its own properties, natural cracks and deformations are the expressions the material has created through my interactions. The material allows me to interact and smooth certain faces, while also not allowing me to interact with other faces.
