Versus is a project that was developed within the course Advanced Studies in Editorial Design and Typography, Master of Graphic Design and Editorial Projects, the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto, under the orientation of João Martino and Miguel Almeida (Non-Verbal Club).
The main purpose of this project was to create two editorial projects that illustrate two antagonic characters, using design to accentuate the difference between the subjects.
The subjects of this project are Whitey Bulger and William Bulger. Even thougth this two characters share the same descendence, they had two very different paths in life. Whitey was the head of the Irish Mob
in Boston, and was considered one of the ten most wanted criminals in the world and William was one of the most high profiled politian in the United States.
