JMUN is a project in which elementary students aged 11-14 discuss topics of interest to United Nation member countries, develop solutions to problems and learn about how the UN functions.
Students from participating schools each represent a different UN country during the simulation of the UN general assembly, in which they must act according to the opinions of the country that has been allocated to them. The conference is organized according to official UN protocol and as such students learn about proceedings and debates at parliamentary level.
During the conference all of the decision-making, lobbying activities and debates are carried out in English.
JMUN hosted was Üsküdar SEV Elementary School and the topic was "Syrian Solutions" for which we designed a key visual to be used on booklets, t-shirts, bags, and various printed material.
