TAKE ME THERE
Born in Yemen and raised in Ethiopia, I have lived in Northern Virginia since I was six. As a professional graphic designer, my inspiration is driven by the challenge of solving problems visually through my love of typography and imagery. I combine my skills with current technology and a strong eye for design.
As a Muslim-American with such a diverse background, I’ve been influenced by many cultures. For my senior book I explore variations between ten countries non-traditionally with a bold, colorful design and beautiful imagery to capture the essence of the cultures. I break away from my traditional style of work and break all the rules of a simple travel book playfully, yet still educating my readers with knowledge of these unique destinations.
