Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Drukarstwa w Grębocinie
Writing and Printing Museum is located in Grębocin, Poland. Museum is situated in the old church building, where the impressive collection of printing machines is being kept. Museum offers wide range of workshops for both children and adults. While working on the project I designed an alphabet inspired by the history of lettering. I made a research in order to find the most interesting letter forms, among both historical images and local Grębocin typography. Thanks of that I wanted to gain an interest in typography among guests, and encourage them to experiment with the letters. This alphabet became an elastic graphic design language which I used to design wide range of promotional and information materials. I also redesigned the logo by make it more simple and readible. I wanted to kept old stamp-like character of the sign and make it more apparent.
Project was part of my diploma I made in Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław.
