I D E A T I O N: 
Reinterpretation, a tribute to Alvar Aalto’s Paimio chair using the Pliessnig folding technique.

The chair is the result of parts joining. 
P R O C C E S S:

Because of the absence of a steam wood bending machine at the wood studio, we decided to simplify the design and use the technique of pressing in mold for the wood bending pieces.  We used metal for the chair structure and wood chapilla agglomerate for the seat.
