Portland Trail Blazers 2015-2016 Calendars / Wallpapers

This wallpaper was tricky. I wanted to highlight the relationship between Lillard and Plumlee, since that was really important the previous month. Also, I wanted Plumlee to be in a wallpaper since he'd been a major part of our success but hadn't been in one yet. I think this looks more like another Lillard wallpaper, which is fine, but he'd also been the focus in the previous month. I made a point to feature Plumlee using a different image in one of the playoff wallpapers.

Since making the playoffs was such a big deal for the team, I wanted to do something special. I made wallpapers using all the previous images, and included a few additional ones for players who didn't get a wallpaper during the regular season, but made an impact.

There wasn't much time between the first and second round, so I used the same images I did in the first round but changed the info. This is that new image featuring Plumlee that I mentioned above.

I made different sizes of each wallpaper too. This is one of the 2nd Round iPad wallpapers.

I also made mobile sizes of each wallpaper.

The Trail Blazers are my favorite team. I make calendars / wallpapers every month of the season so it's easy to check the times for games. I've been doing it for the past 3 seasons. Each year I spend a little more time making them. It's a fun little puzzle trying to squeeze all the info into a space without making it feel cluttered. I think this year I'm most proud of using the small plane to indicate away games in these calendars.

This past season was probably my favorite since I've been a fan. Expectations were really low since our roster underwent a major overhaul. We wound up making it to the second round of the playoffs. It was so much fun, and I can't wait for next year. I'm uploading these now because, well, I don't upload here frequently, so it's easy to forget.
