Unlocking the Potential of Promotions

Unlocking the Potential of Promotions
Making advertising interesting
After over 20 years in business, we have seen promotional trends come and go. Some products are fads: here today, gone tomorrow, never mentioned again. Others have remarkable staying power. A truly successful promotional product is like the proverbial porridge: not too "hot", not too "cold", but just right.
By way of example, here are some of the remarkable things we've done in the past month or two.
We did this acrylic piece for the 12th AIGA 50 - the biennial design competition organized by the DC chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Artists  - showcasing fifty of the strongest examples of design produced in the greater Washington area. The full-color printed acrylic award features a clear cut-out, a play on the use of "negative space" that was one of this year's themes.
Lapel pins have long been a classy way of expressing corporate, political and brand identity. Here are some pins we have produced for SAIC. Clockwise from left, a sculpted relief of an eagle in antique brass finish, a custom shape with hard enamel colorfill and a silver finish, and a special edition pin for their 25th anniversary.
This fun, brain-teasing puzzle was a perfect promotion for one of our clients in the cyber security business. The disc needs to be "unlocked" by maneuvering the key in just the right sequence — promising many hours of stress relief and exposure for the company.
These elegant, fast-drying beach towels are made of organic Egyptian cotton, perfect for a beach-resort conference or a corporate retreat. The discrete embroidery signals subtlety and class.
