A university project in which I created two niche zines aimed at the sneakerhead community. The first zine shown below depicted the dark side to trainer collecting and culture of care people have for their footwear. Each page showcases awful situations to which the owner has forsaken themselves in the effort to keep their kicks fresh!

•  WORD PLAY, REFERRING TO THE NOUN ‘SUICIDE’ BUT WITH A
  COMPETE TWIST ON THE EXISTING DEFINITION
•  BRINGS FORTH THE IDEA VIA VISUALS OF THE LENGTHS PEOPLE WILL GO TO ALL FOR THE LOVE OF FASHION, IN THE GREATEST ATTEMPT STILL REMAIN STYLISH
•  ‘SHOE-CIDE’ EMBODIES ALL THESE ASPECTS IN QUIRKY ILLUSTRATIONS THAT DISPLAY THE RESULT OF PEOPLE’S DEMISE IN EFFORTS TO KEEP THEIR FOOTWEAR PRISTINE
The second zine I designed acted as more of catalogue of high fashion trainers by designers such as Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga and Givenchy.
