Goya, a local chocolate manufacturer in the Philippines, recently released their most premium product Goya Belgian Chocolate Seashells. It is based from an existing product from Natra Jacali
I was tasked to re-design the packaging for the local release. I chose to do a clean, minimalistic approach using swirls as a main design element with waves as an inspiration.
The plan was to have a plain, dark brown, matte box with a product window showing two chocolate seashells surrounded by gold-stamped swirls/waves. The product name and the logo will also be spot laminated on the box to give a subtle yet premium look. The last element will then be a color-coded, thin paper band with the product label printed in white.
