Ital Trinity | Re-design Project
Ital Trinity: St. Croix, Virgin Islands. A local eatery which serves “ITAL” (vegan, natural) food and natural local homemade drinks.
The Brief
The client wanted a re-design of the business' business card. The business technically has no logo, but it had what can be described as a mark or symbol. But I had to re-design that mark so it would be more of a logo, along with re-designing the card.
Concept Development
In the design, I wanted to maintain the grungy and hand drawn feel, like the mark on the card. I drew inspiration from an old display sign outside of the business; I also drew inspiration from the many uniquely painted murals that can be found around the town where the business is located. I did not want the design to have a clean, techy feel, I wanted an earthy vibe. Though it was outside the scope of the project, I went ahead and designed a potential upgrade to the display sign.
