During 2nd year of studies I created unofficial visual identity for NeMA department (New Media Art english) at Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. Teaching program was changed at that time into 4 basic modules – IT, Theory, Design and Project-based learning.
The logotype was created based on the 4 pictograms created for usage in NeMA catalog, which I designed with Natalia Łajszczak.

The modules where created to complement each other and give knowledge in different areas of design, and so the very important aspect of the logo was to underline unity of the modules and the whole program as well as a complementation of classes – theory module supports design module etc.

OCR A Std, official typeface of PJAIT school was used in the logotype and catalog in order to give coherent visual system with different school departments as well as official school logotype. Typography was composed in different variations ( only two are shown ) to give flexibility for the future materials in which the logotype could be potentially used.
