This project includes 3 artworks we illustrated for Afamily — an online news website about family topics, and T•pot Journal — a print magazine about balanced lifestyle. T•pot's main theme for their 5th issue is "Home" and Afamily's article is part of their #WeAreFamily2016 campaign that are currently running.
Thus, our artworks aim to seek what were once lovely memories around our loved ones and belongings. We wish to express the warm atmosphere filled with plenty of sunshine. What contains in each illustration is not just our own stories but also the beautiful, familiar stories of many Vietnamese generations' childhood.
It feels so good to live our yesterday once again.

"Magic in Mom's Bag"
Every time Mom gets home from the market, there is always something hidden in her bag. With her touch only, different exciting gifts keep magically appearing, delighting the curious kids.
"Simple Fantasy"
Mom's gifts from the market are a kid's pride. Running around the neighborhood to show them off to friends and be admired is fun, but the best is they can all play their own world with little things like sticky figurine.
"Childhood Kitchen"
In my memories about Grandma, there is this tiny kitchen corner she visited day by day. I love everything about it, even the old dusty stuff that played an important part in nurturing my childlike joys.
