Brief: You are to design a holistic corporate identity for a chosen
company and apply it to a number of publicity items.

Solution:
I chose a to design a corporate identity for a library called The Bookshelf, this is new concept in response to the government’s ‘Big Society’. This is a Library run by volunteers for the local community – a total re-think of the library as we know it.
I envisioned a state of the art library that included various sections decided to children, quiet etc. This building would be at the heart of the community, serving as a central hub for knowledge and creativity, The Bookshelf will be a revolutionary leader in the future of libraries.
To go along with this type of library I wanted a very clean, stripped down design for the corporate identity, this is an honest and good business and I have reflected that in the final outcome.
