House Magazine Redesign

House is an existing luxury lifestyle magazine. Its motto is: “for those who enjoy a beautiful lifestyle!” In regards to content, the magazine has a pretty tacky, gaudy, and glamourous vibe. However, what the magazine lacks overall is structure. For example, there is no consistency in layout, and typography. 
 
The logo redesign is clean, bold and reflects structure and space.
The redesign represents the glamour and tackyness of the magazine’s content, all tied together with a sophisticated and organized structure. 
 
The redesign is inspired by the magazine’s name which is House. The structure is set up like floor plan designs. With this redesign, the magazine is given a more sophisticated, luxurious, expensive and structured look. Tackyness doesn’t have to look cheap. The new look stays true to the magazine's content while having a structure that feels fit for those "who enjoy a beautiful lifestyle".
