CONCEPT
Character concept created for the embodiment of the pure idea. The concept being that an idea will layer much like an onion or a fruit with a core. So the constellation will always be the same but the iterations are infinite in variation and form.
EXHIBITION
The ’Eido’ concept was created for an exhibition in Urban Spree gallery in Berlin, in conjunction with the Pictoplasma character festival. The exhibition was a group show, featuring the Pictoplasma Academy 2015 workshop alumni, in form of the creative collective ‘DasGhost’.
The ‘Eido’ concept was presented in the exhibition through a mixed media sculpture as well as a print design, a memory game card set design and a sticker book design for sale in the gallery store.
SCULPTURE
With a living, liquid core the idea is surrounded by a frame and outer layers, to incubate and protect it, until it is ready to spread wings and fly.
