8 of Clubs - Playing Arts
Playing Arts is a collective art project that gathers designers and illustrators from all over the world with an idea to express their vision of an ordinary playing card using personal styles, techniques, and imagination.
♣ This was my proposal for 2016 Special Edition's 8 of Clubs. ♣
The 8 of Clubs represents the power of the mind, intelligence and communication. In numerology, the eight represents infinity and the universe.
My illustration depicts the connection between the mind and the universe. The two concepts are infinite, the universe in its physical immensity and the mind in its endless capacity for thought and imagination. Without this infinite power of the mind, humankind wouldn't have developed all scientific and technological innovations that allowed him to get into space and continue to dream of going far beyond.
