Handmade paper embedded with seeds for kitchen herbs was made in collaboration with Auroville paper industry. After many attemps on different pressure applied through hydraulic press machine, the desired paper was achieved. 

The idea behind is, when unpacked, packagin paper can itself be discarded back into the same plant to grow herbs from. 

Loose fibres of handmade paper permit the seeds to germinate easily. The paper can be sandwiched between soil or could be kept on the top layer of moist soil also.
