Aria's Kiss
In 2014 I made a tiny scribble featuring a creature from video game series Final Fantasy combined with a loose hand-lettered text. Over the years some more scribbles followed until I decided to make whole series out of it.
Kiss is the first of a set of greeting cards featuring charismatic creatures from the Final Fantasy series, combined with quotes from iconic songs.
Honoring the “unique” odor of a Marlboro’s breath a “kissing”-theme seemed the most obvious choice. The lettering artwork comes with lyrics from The Cure’s “Why Can’t I Be You?” and features playful letters that suit the song’s mood.
