Design Sprint - procerie

Landing page of the application. It was an application that would allow you to track the life cycle of your fresh produce, in order to reduce food waste.
According to the Toronto Food Policy Council, the average household wastes $28 dollars per week on thrown away food, and over 50% of that is fresh produce. We aimed to reduce food waste by giving people a platform to track, properly store, and ideas to use fresh produce.
Sorting different types of produce based on similar life cycles. For example, onions and potatoes (Purple Box) have a simlarly long life span before they become inedile.
In the Blue Box we can see cherries, along with other fruits in the Blue Box with similar life cycle on the scroll wheel. The days remaining before they go off, the mass left, and the money at risk of being lost are all represented numerically and visually using wheels. Wheels will be a consistent theme throughout this application.
Medium fidelity concept sketch of different screens. At the far right, we can see the savings for the week of June 13-20th, depicting graphically the savings for the family, the neighbourhood average, and the top competitor for that neighbourhood. The coloured dots represent interest from other students in a "Art Gallery" activity.
